About Evergreen tree care

Gary and Linda Abrojena started Evergreen Tree Care in 1980 in Walnut Creek, California with one pickup truck and one tree climber. They grew the business up into an expert team that has enjoyed a reputation in Contra Costa County for skilled, timely work, done with professionalism and integrity.

Our goal has always been to provide the highest level of excellence possible to our clients and to the trees in our cities and neighborhoods. Since 1980 we’ve built our company and customer base. Due to our reputation we have a high rate of repeat clients both commercial and residential. We handle the tree work for many HOA’s, City and County Departments, property management companies and more, in addition to our residential client base that continues to grow. Over the years we have been highly involved in the tree care industry providing practical training in tree climbing and use of cranes, business and ground operations. We’ve also supported, volunteered and participated in the Tree Climbing Championships that help climbers hone their skills. In 2018 we implemented our new Plant Health Care division.

Having operated the family-run business for almost 40 years, in 2018 Gary and Linda began the process of incorporation and turning the business into the hands of their two oldest sons, Gary Jr. and Jared. Today they work together as a team of owners to advance Evergreen Tree Care to the next level with more training for skilled and experienced employees, advanced equipment and systems in place to provide the very best customer service and care for trees.
